For years we have seen players leave school early in the midst to chase their dream which is to play professional basketball in the NBA. And until the NBA established a rule that players had to be at least 19-years of age and out of high school for at least one year, players were going straight from the prom to the league. But since the NBA established the rule, we see a flock of players each year that after one year in college are ready to make the jump to the pro game. However the NBA could make players wait longer before they enter league which will bring with it some controversy.
Is it the right move or the wrong one by the NBA to make players wait before joining the league? How will this effect college basketball as well as leagues that are overseas?
I will be discussing this and more on the 300lbsofsportsknowledge Show on June 18th at 9PM Eastern/6PM Pacific. Please feel free to call-in at 626-231-0309 and share your thoughts.
