Today’s reading is from 2 Peter 2:5-6
“And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
"And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;"
Take a few moments to meditate on these verses.
Now, take some time to think about and answer these questions:
5. What example is given here of God’s judgement? Noah and the flood. Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
6. For what purpose were Sodom and Gomorrha reduced to ashes? As an example to those who live ungodly lives.
