The MLB and MLBPA have reached an agreement on a potential "doomsday" scenario where there is no 2020 season at all. The Players will be rewarded 2019 service time in exchange for not receiving full pay. On the surface, it seems like a nice win for the players.

There are currently 3 former #1 overall draft picks that are still Free Agents in the NFL. This is unprecedented. Cam Newton, Clowney, and Jameis Winston are still all on the market and may end up with deals nowhere near they thought at the beginning of the offseason.
