Home body is Rupi Kaur’s third book and it has garnered a commendable 4.8 Stars out of 5 on Amazon and 4.1 out of 5 on Good reads. Kaur is seen as the pioneer of the fairly new sub genre of Instagram poetry, and while Instapoetry isn't as aged as other subgenres yet it has amassed a dedicated following, and in the same breath, there is notable criticism directed at it; aside from the one-liners begging for depth and/or elaboration or the unproductive use of indentations, the greater question lingers; is this type of work considered poetry?
