Welcome to the 25th Hour Podcast – where successful business owners talk about the magic of creating a 25th hour every day! We've all been there - your calendar is in great shape. Your to-do list is done. You are in the zone . . . All your balls in the air are being easily juggled. Then....something changes, and suddenly chaos reigns! This podcast will help you learn to up-level your time management strategies so you can get back in control of your day – and make an extra hour, your 25th hour, a reality - every day.

Today’s guest is Hallie Steinberg. Hallie is a Certified Health Coach with Hallie's Healthy Living. She provides individual and group sessions, Wellness Workshops, and presentations focusing on the four pillars of health: Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude and Nutrition. She is specialized to work with Parents and Children, Pregnant/Nursing Mothers and Prime Timers (adults preparing, entering or enjoying their mature years). Combining her Biology degree from the University of Pennsylvania, her two Masters in Education and many years of teaching experience as a Special Ed teacher, Hallie provides education and coaching in a fun and interactive way.

In this episode, Hallie shares how she organizes her time to maximize flexibility and functionality, and we discuss why it’s more important than ever these days to have a backup plan.

Time Management Strategies for Success:

Organizing for the day the night before - “I always organize my day as much as possible the night before so I can see a really broad picture. Not only am I a businesswoman, but I'm also a mom of three kids, so I really have to incorporate that.”Having a back-up plan - “I have to be flexible and I’m constantly changing things up as the need arises, so I have to prioritize and schedule things so that if something happens, I have a backup plan.”Using lists - “I’ve always been a planner, so a way for me to organize and calm myself is to make lists. I usually make a priority list of things that must be done, things that are less urgent, and I also make sure I have time to do enjoyable things that aren’t as urgent.”Organizing the Zoom links - “With all the emails and Zoom links and notifications these days, I like to make sure I know where I’m going and how to get there - so I organize all my links the night before to make sure I don’t show up late or miss something.”

Here’s how Hallie likes to spend her 25th Hour:

Sitting with Family - “For me, it would be sitting with my family doing some kind of family activity and not having to think about cleaning, or what comes next, or what meal I have to prepare, or who needs to feed the dogs…just a straight hour of time to be in the moment with my family.”
