Episode #3: Working With Nice People

Every week it is my goal to share stories from successful business owners and their relationship with time. Today’s guest is Michael Murray, the President of Peabody Wealth Advisors based in Danvers, MA.

Mike has a passion for helping bring organization to your financial life so you can spend more time in your personal life. He learned early in his career that if he concentrates on only working with nice people, he’s more productive, clients are happier, and business his grows.

Strategies to be Productive: 
Zone of Genius -  “I love the business building and I love managing the relationships. So I've really come to focus on that.”

Diverse Team - “Bringing a diversity of thought to the process, because if you have all people that think as you do, you don't get to the places you want to go. You want dissenting opinions, and you want ideas that help make your business better.”

Delegate - “It's a challenging transition, but you start to realize if you don't delegate, it's fatal for your business. You will stagnate forever.”

Using Technology - “If a client can meet us on a Zoom call, or they have to come in person, get a babysitter, arrange all this stuff, or they can meet at their kitchen table or in their living room, which would they rather do?”

Here’s how Mike likes to spend his 25th Hour:
I'd be walking down the beach in Florida and on my way to listen to some live music and my wife and I stop in a local fish shack on the water.
