Finishing touches have been attended.  Crowd barriers put in place. Potential dissidents rounded up.  And city streets swept to an immaculate tidiness.  So with two very prominent players left sitting on the sidelines, Korea’s financial capital is now ready to showcase its grandeur under the international spotlight as the Choe government prepares to host their first international summit in the city of Seoul.  Leaders from eleven Asian Pacific Rim nations will gather in two days to discuss trade, defense, cultural, and economic unity in a new Asian community absent of American influence.  And it appears Korea’s ultimate strategy is to also form an alliance of Pacific Rim nations with neither a Chinese nor a Russian influence in the region.  A strategy which most observers see as, most likely, an impossibility.
