"a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defence of custom. But the tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason."  In Common Sense Thomas Paine sought to bring a simple explanation for the cause of Liberty for the American colonies of England. Today, his words still ring true. With each passing week, another mass shooting here and there and more well publicized infringements on responsible gun owners we must all vigilanty defend common sense.
