On Today’s show we have a mash up involving a 19Nine Classic and a School Spirit with the 19Nine’s release of the Sura and Seminoles Apparel. Join us as we look back at a legendary game involving Sura and the Noles and talk about some of the history, present, and future of Florida State Basketball.

Welcome to the 19Nine Podcast, the best and only retro college basketball podcast. And Welcome to you the listeners who followed Charlie Ward from the football field to the hardwood and those who still admire Sam Cassell’s Dancing Skills after a big shot. I’m going to kick it to Josh and let him set up the gear drop and set the scene a bit for this classic Florida State game.  We’ve got a special guest for Today’s Episode A four-year member of the Seminole basketball program, Scott Shepherd was part of the 1993 Elite Eight run. Scott is a third-generation Indiana All-Star who scored 1,777 career points while at Carmel High School. His Dad Billy and Uncle Dave were Indiana Mr. Basketball in 1968 and 1970, respectfully. Scott was a Street & Smith Basketball High School Top 25 member in 1992. He played in 88 games during his 4-year FSU career and averaged 10 points per game in ACC play his senior season. His teammates included: Sam Cassell, Bob Sura, Charlie Ward and Doug Edwards – all first round NBA draft picks. Scott now lives in Laguna Beach, CA with his wife and 7 year old son, Hudson.
