Advent calendars have a long history, but is it a good one? Is it okay to give kids toys/treats to teach them about Christmas? Do these calendars just distract from what Christmas is actually about?
On today’s podcast, Pastor Derek and Pastor Jackie talk through the history of Advent and dig through a lot of Scripture about Jewish festivals and God’s role in ordaining those to see if the same might apply to Advent.
