Rusty Simmons

 

In this episode, we are joined by Rusty Simmons; Archeologist here at SEAC.

Rusty began his journey as an archeologist after an enlistment in the US Army. Following his service, he transitioned to Middle Tennessee State University to begin pursuing archeology. After completing his educational endeavors, he made his way south to begin working here at SEAC.

His time here at SEAC has allowed him to work at a variety of sites in and around the southeastern US as part of our Compliance section. With some of his favorite sites being Cumberland Island National Seashore and Fort Raleigh National Historic Site.
