Doruk’s main issue was that as a younger coach he was concerned that he didn’t have enough credibility to coach at the level he wanted


He was discounting the vast experience he did have, the two books he’s published and the work he’s done on himself in an effort to find more credibility


This narrative was distorting all of the solutions he could see for his business problems


In effect, he was “so good at fixing problems he always found problems new problems to fix” and thus that combined with the credibility lens kept him moving much slower than necessary
