A Cave Made Out of Listerine! (35)

Caves are all the rage this episode... oh, and Alison teaches Lulu how to "Call the hogs!"

Alison went on vacation - a real one! - for the first time, to Hawaii, and she shares some of the highlights from her incredible trip. 

OBSESSIONS: (17:48) Lulu is obsessed with this luxe yet inexpensive Pre de Provence Lavender Soap. Alison is obsessed with sea turtles, after a connection to them on her Hawaii trip.

WISHLIST: (21:40) Lulu wishes for pizza to be calorie-free. While an imaginary wish, this whole podcast is imaginary so she can want what she wants! Alison is wishing for a Sushi Bazooka. Oh, and come to New York and see our show on September 8th!

ALISON’S 10K DAY - PARTHENON, ARKANSAS: (25:30) Alison picked this location solely based on the place she found on Airbnb. She uses Turo, which is like Airbnb but for vehicles. Breakfast at Neighbors Mill. On to Fayetteville for a pre-season football game in $4,000 club seats. Go, Razorbacks! Lunch at the Low Gap Cafe. Next Alison stops at Herbhome Farm for some herbs, veggies, and goat milk soaps. Back at the cave, she calls a cook dinner at the cave, using her herbs and veggies from earlier. Then she takes a bath with her new goat milk soap. Lulu is impressed she was able to spend as much as she did in Arkansas. 

LULU’S 10K DAY - JUNEAU, ALASKA: (37:29) Lulu books a place on HomeAway. If you go to Alaska, you’ve got to go look at glaciers. Not for the faint of heart, or the ill-equipped, Lulu goes shopping for some supplies. Among other things she gets Leki Trekking Poles, Sisley Nutritive Lip Balm, and these North Face Etip Gloves (gotta be able to selfie with these views!). She heads out on this Mendenhall Glacier Trek. Then for a luxury whale watching tour. You have to listen to know why she has three Quarter Pounders, one each for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
