Smart guy. Dux of his school. Studied law at university. But quit Law for comedy. He was soon picked up by Triple J and hosted its breakfast show for four years before quitting that for comedy.

Since then he’s hosted an episode of Q and A, The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardis Gras on SBS and the ABC panel show, Reality Check.

And along the way, he has performed some ground breaking and award winning one man comedy shows.

In the interview, we talk about his comedy influences, his sense of social justice and he says that even if Australia votes No in the marriage equality postal survey, the fight for equal rights will go on.
