On the verge of a big job and the heels of finishing the writing phase of his upcoming book, Matt warns about the dangers of expectations and how they can squeeze the life out of you if you're not careful.  Sometimes the most important thing is to get started.  Many times once you are obedient to that higher calling, people and situations arise from out of the woodwork to help you figure out the logistics.

SHOW NOTES:

“It doesn’t matter what the external validations that happen to be going on in your life at that particular moment are. It is internal. It is your thought process. It is your choice to focus on the good and minimize the bad. It doesn’t mean to ignore the bad, but it means to not let it get a grip of you.”,(4:26). Recognizing the lack of gratitude in yourself, (5:05). “It started with this urge to express myself. This urge to use myself up in some way that did not require someone to hire me in order to do something.”, (9:40). Not knowing if your dreams will come true on any day, (14:00). Having people each step of the way who help with logistics, (16:25). Taking the leap to get things done, (18:08).
